Having a belt snap on you mid-ride is one of the worst headaches you can get on a Surron, leaving you stranded with potentially a very long push home. So we would always suggest one of the first upgrades you should do on your Surron is a belt upgrade. The Gates GT4 is a well known belt made by one of the best brands in the industry. This belt is much more resistant to snapping than the stock belt and is also ideal if you have upgraded the power on your Surron.

We'd recommend using this on anything up to about 17kw, if you are running more power than this, consider looking at our other alternative, the Gates GTX.
