The Talaria bikes are gearbox driven, not belt driven like the Surron, these gearboxes can last forever – as long as they are looked after. From factory the Talaria Stings are filled with a specific break-in oil, the break in period is complete after 180 miles, after this point the oil should be replaced for a quality gear box oil that we stock here at Bike Shack Leyton. After the initial oil change, you should look to change your gear box oil every 600 miles. If you haven’t changed your oil recently, book a service with us at our workshop in East London now.
